School Psychologist in Grand Prairie, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active professional license as a school psychologist
• Experience conducting psychological evaluations (educational and autism assessments)
• Familiarity with ARD processes and ability to present evaluation results effectively
• Comfort working with a diverse caseload, including counseling as a related service (primarily indirect)
• Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate well within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to meet all credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting and drug screening
• Flexibility to be assigned to various campuses as determined locally

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete psychological evaluations for both re-evaluations and initial assessments across elementary, intermediate, middle, and high schools
• Participate in MD ARD meetings as needed, interpreting and sharing assessment findings
• Deliver indirect counseling services for students as required per campus needs
• Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all ethical, legal, and professional standards
• Collaborate closely with special education and general education staff to support student success
