Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with K-5 or elementary caseloads preferred
  • Understanding of psychological assessments, IEP development, and intervention strategies
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support teams
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify student needs and support eligibility decisions
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative services in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and support positive school climate
  • Support staff and families, offering recommendations and resources tailored to student success
  • Abide by the limit of 40 working hours per week
