Essential Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Excellent communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective intervention and support plans
- Strong organizational skills with attention to documentation and follow-through
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational evaluations to identify student strengths, challenges, and eligibility for special services
- Interpret assessment data for multidisciplinary teams and assist in developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support for students and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote a positive learning environment
- Lead and participate in multi-tiered intervention support teams
- Offer in-service training and workshops on topics related to mental health, learning, and behavior
