Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Possession of a valid Texas LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) credential
- Proven experience as a School Psychologist in K-12 school settings
- Strong understanding of special education processes and federal/state guidelines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide targeted interventions, crisis support, and counseling services to students
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families on best practices for learning and behavior
- Assist in the creation of strategies and programs to promote student well-being and positive school climate
- Participate in multidisciplinary and ARD/IEP team meetings, offering clinical insights and recommendations
