Qualifications:

  • Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Strong ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Knowledgeable in behavioral interventions, special education processes, and IEP development
  • Flexible approach and adaptability to diverse student needs and school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and educational evaluations to assess student strengths and needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling to promote social and emotional development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, collaborating to create and implement effective interventions
  • Offer consultation and support to educators and families regarding learning, behavioral, and mental health challenges
  • Assist in the eligibility determination process for special education services and write comprehensive reports
  • Support crisis prevention and response efforts within the school community
