Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Knowledgeable in behavioral interventions, special education processes, and IEP development
- Flexible approach and adaptability to diverse student needs and school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational evaluations to assess student strengths and needs
- Provide individual and group counseling to promote social and emotional development
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, collaborating to create and implement effective interventions
- Offer consultation and support to educators and families regarding learning, behavioral, and mental health challenges
- Assist in the eligibility determination process for special education services and write comprehensive reports
- Support crisis prevention and response efforts within the school community
