Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings
• Strong evaluations and assessment skills, including administration and interpretation of standardized tests
• Familiarity with itinerant service models and comfort with traveling between sites, if required
• Solid collaboration skills to consult with educators, administrators, and families
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and sensitivity
• Previous experience in a school environment preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations
• Participate in initial, triennial, and emergency assessments as needed
• Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide recommendations for interventions and supports tailored to each student's unique needs
• Deliver direct counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention when necessary
• Serve on an itinerant basis for multiple schools, promoting consistent support across the district
• Uphold state and federal regulations concerning student assessments and special education
