Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students across various grade levels preferred
- Ability to administer and interpret assessments for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), 504 plans, and response to intervention (RTI) strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results to guide student services
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop evidence-based intervention plans
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide student counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation as needed
- Offer professional guidance to staff on classroom management and behavioral strategies
- Maintain clear documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice
