This full-time, contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week supporting K-12 students near Greensboro, NC. You’ll use your expertise to conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments, helping to shape individualized education strategies for a diverse caseload.
Qualifications:
- Active and current North Carolina School Psychologist license required
- Certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience supporting students in elementary, middle, and high school environments
- Familiarity with educational assessments and evaluation procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
- Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students across grade levels
- Participate in eligibility determinations and develop intervention recommendations
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers, administrators, and parents
- Support crisis intervention and behavior management when needed
- Help design and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) as required
