Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational environment
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with students, faculty, and guardians
  • Familiarity with special education procedures, IEP development, and response to intervention (RTI) models

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students using updated, research-based assessment tools and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop intervention plans and strategies for student success
  • Provide direct counseling services individually and in groups
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams supporting students with special needs
  • Consult with educators and administrators on behavioral and academic interventions
  • Offer crisis intervention and promote a positive, inclusive school climate
