School Psychologist - Greensburg, PA

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience providing assessments, counseling, and intervention services in a K-12 setting
• Proficient in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of current laws and best practices in special education

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational evaluations as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and parents
• Offer short-term counseling and crisis intervention for students in need
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support and advocate for student well-being
• Design and implement evidence-based interventions to address academic or behavioral concerns
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records
• Participate in special education team meetings and professional development opportunities
