A travel opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential mental health and educational assessments in school settings. This role involves supporting students' psychological well-being and academic progress through comprehensive evaluations, intervention planning, and collaboration with educators and families.
Location: Greensburg, PA (Travel position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify students’ learning needs and cognitive abilities.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teachers, administrators, and parents.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support students’ mental health.
- Consult with school staff regarding behavioral strategies and intervention techniques.
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with state and federal educational regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities related to student support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting assessments and developing IEPs within school environments.
- Strong understanding of educational laws, child development, and psychological testing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel to assigned school locations as required.
