Make a meaningful impact supporting students across preschool to high school as a contract School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 academic year. This onsite position offers the opportunity to provide essential psychological services, conduct special education evaluations, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for students. Enjoy a consistent full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week, working closely with staff, families, and other professionals to promote student well-being and academic achievement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology required
  • Michigan Department of Education approval as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with special education evaluations across ages preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and families
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and special education timelines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and special education evaluations for students from preschool through 12th grade
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement interventions and supports
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to help promote positive educational and behavioral outcomes
  • Ensure documentation and practices are in full compliance with state and federal special education regulations
  • Flexibility to adapt responsibilities as needed to meet the unique needs of the district
