Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology required
- Michigan Department of Education approval as a School Psychologist
- Experience with special education evaluations across ages preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and families
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and special education timelines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and special education evaluations for students from preschool through 12th grade
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement interventions and supports
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to help promote positive educational and behavioral outcomes
- Ensure documentation and practices are in full compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Flexibility to adapt responsibilities as needed to meet the unique needs of the district
