Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid South Carolina School Psychologist licensure required
  • Experience or certification as a School Psychologist in K-12 educational settings
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and intervention skills for students at all grade levels
  • Effective communication and reporting abilities
  • Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams and diverse school communities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students in elementary, middle, and high schools
  • Deliver direct counseling and consultation services to support students’ mental health and academic performance
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and school-wide initiatives to promote positive outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with state and district regulations
  • Advocate for students’ social, emotional, and behavioral growth
