Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments for referred students across all grade levels
- Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to develop effective intervention and support plans
- Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Providing consultation services to staff and families regarding students’ learning, behavior, and mental health needs
- Offering direct services such as counseling, as needed, to assist students in overcoming barriers to success in school
- Keeping accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
