Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure/certification to practice as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Knowledge of IEPs, MTSS/RTI, special education law, and evidence-based interventions
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Collaborative mindset and dedication to student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychoeducational assessments to support special education eligibility decisions
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies and interventions
  • Collaborate in the development, implementation, and review of IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and positive behavior
  • Engage in crisis intervention and prevention efforts as needed
