School Psychologist in Greenwich, CT

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Current or eligible School Psychologist certification for the state
• Previous experience in school settings is a plus
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and special education regulations
• Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to providing culturally responsive and inclusive practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide individual and group counseling for students
• Offer crisis intervention and recommendations for behavioral support
• Assist in designing and implementing prevention and intervention services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and support plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards
