In this contract position, you will contribute your skills within a supportive environment focused on student growth and collaborative problem-solving. Working onsite, you’ll deliver essential assessment and consultation services across three buildings, helping students and educators alike.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana School Psychologist license (required)
  • Expertise in administering psychoeducational assessments and determining eligibility is highly desired
  • In-depth understanding of special education law, compliance, and best practices
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct approximately 70 special education evaluations annually, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Act as a critical liaison between families, staff, and administration to promote student success
  • Provide ongoing consultation and recommendations to support individualized education plans
  • Attend and participate in monthly team meetings, sharing insights and strategies
  • Maintain strict adherence to state and federal guidelines in documentation and eligibility determinations
  • Report directly to the district supervisor, ensuring that all practices align with district standards

Position Details:

  • Contract-based opportunity
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
  • Onsite support across three school buildings
  • Direct, positive engagement with a diverse student population
