Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Indiana
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Experience with psychological evaluations, IEP processes, and crisis intervention is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for building relationships with students, staff, and families
- Organizational and problem-solving skills to navigate multiple cases and priorities
- Flexibility and adaptability to support a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct educational and psychological assessments to support student success
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior and intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams for IEP meetings and provide recommendations
- Advocate for student needs and collaborate in designing effective learning environments
- Offer direct counseling and social-emotional support to students
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Consult with teachers, parents, and community providers as needed
