Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid South Carolina School Psychologist License
- Previous experience with comprehensive psychological assessments
- Strong understanding of evaluating Specific Learning Disability through the PSW model
- Proficiency in assessing Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of evaluations for Special Education eligibility, working collaboratively to identify student needs and strengths
- Apply best practices and professional judgment in assessment, particularly utilizing the PSW model for learning disabilities
- Offer guidance on strategies and interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD
- Liaise with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, supporting student development and achievement
- Attend and participate in student support meetings and case conferences
