Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina School Psychologist License
- Proven experience with school-aged populations
- Familiarity with conducting comprehensive evaluations for Special Education eligibility
- Comfortable assessing a range of needs, including Specific Learning Disabilities (using the PSW model), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Ready to work full-time onsite and initiate services promptly
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough psychological assessments and evaluations for Special Education eligibility
- Provide insightful, evidence-based recommendations for students’ educational plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing results and collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Deliver direct consultation and intervention support for students as needed
- Maintain accurate, organized documentation in compliance with district and state policies
- Engage in ongoing professional development and case discussions as required
