Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid South Carolina School Psychologist License required
- Previous experience conducting evaluations for Special Education eligibility strongly preferred
- Proficiency in assessing Specific Learning Disabilities using the PSW (Pattern of Strengths and Weaknesses) model
- Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD in a school setting
- Capacity for independent practice and collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve in a full-time, onsite capacity from now through the end of the school year
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine Special Education eligibility
- Assess and interpret data related to cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and team members to develop effective intervention strategies
- Participate in meetings and consultations supporting students' individualized plans
- Adapt to evolving needs as discussed during a virtual interview
