This full-time, contract role for the next school year focuses on providing essential psychological services for K-12 students, fostering positive learning environments, and collaborating with educators and families to support student well-being and growth.

Your expertise will be pivotal as you:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs and recommend interventions
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide direct counseling and support services to students, addressing emotional, social, and academic challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote mental health and ensure student success
  • Respond promptly to crisis situations and offer guidance on best practices for student safety and well-being
  • Engage in consultation with staff on strategies for classroom management and student engagement
  • Maintain accurate records and participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings

Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility)
  • Completion of a master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Prior experience in a K-12 setting, ideally with multiple campuses or within a smaller district
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
