Your expertise will be pivotal as you:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs and recommend interventions
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct counseling and support services to students, addressing emotional, social, and academic challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote mental health and ensure student success
- Respond promptly to crisis situations and offer guidance on best practices for student safety and well-being
- Engage in consultation with staff on strategies for classroom management and student engagement
- Maintain accurate records and participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility)
- Completion of a master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Prior experience in a K-12 setting, ideally with multiple campuses or within a smaller district
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
