Shape the next school year as a dedicated School Psychologist, supporting students and educators in the greater New Orleans area. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity runs from early August through late May, aligning with the school calendar. You’ll join a collaborative environment, making a measurable impact on the lives of children and their school communities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Louisiana DOE School Psychologist Certification (required)
  • Prior experience in K-12 school settings is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Comfortable adapting to evolving caseloads and school assignments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Successful completion of district-mandated drug screening and fingerprinting, in addition to agency credentialing

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver psychological services such as assessments, behavior interventions, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct student evaluations and interpret results for educational planning
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to foster student success
  • Provide crisis intervention and ongoing counseling as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation aligned with district, state, and agency guidelines
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
