Key Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut (CT) School Psychologist certification is required
- Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations for students in school settings
- Ability to participate and contribute in PPT meetings
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret assessments to identify student strengths, challenges, and needs
- Actively attend and provide input in PPT meetings to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement interventions
- Provide consultative support to staff and families regarding students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidential student records
