Make a meaningful impact on the lives of elementary and middle school students as a school psychologist in a contract position for the remainder of the academic year. This opportunity involves working with a manageable caseload of around 30 students, providing crucial support in both evaluations and re-evaluations, and collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications and Desired Skills:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential
  • Experience in assessments, including initial evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Understanding of the needs and development of elementary and middle school students
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to serve as lead facilitator in Evaluation Team Report (ETR) meetings
  • Experience contributing to IEP meetings
  • Aptitude for working collaboratively within a team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in need of academic or behavioral support
  • Lead ETR meetings, presenting findings and facilitating discussion
  • Contribute expertise to IEP meetings, aiding in the development of individualized plans that foster student growth
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to create supportive educational strategies
  • Provide consultation and recommendations to staff and parents as needed
  • Support overall student well-being and address barriers to learning

This is a full-time, contract position lasting the remainder of the school year. You'll play a vital role in ensuring students receive the services they need to thrive, all while being an integral part of a passionate team.
