School Psychologist - Gulfport, MS

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid School Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology (or related field)
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong skills in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Commitment to ethical practices and student confidentiality
• Familiarity with IEPs, eligibility meetings, and MTSS/RtI processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and assist in eligibility determinations
• Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
• Support data-driven decision making to enhance student success
• Promote a positive, inclusive school climate through consultation and targeted outreach
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all guidelines and timelines
