Step into a pivotal role supporting students’ growth and well-being as an in-person School Psychologist for a dynamic elementary environment serving PreK-8th grade. This contract opportunity runs from August 19, 2026, through June 2, 2027, with weekly guaranteed hours (37.5) that align with the school calendar and campus-specific schedules—such as Intermediate (8:20–3:55) and Middle grades (7:40–3:15).

As a valued member of the educational team, your expertise will help shape brighter futures through comprehensive assessment, collaboration, and interventions. This is an in-person position with no hybrid option, ensuring direct connections with students, staff, and families.

What you’ll need:

  • Valid School Psychologist license/certification
  • Demonstrated experience or knowledge in K–8th grade educational and developmental stages
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills for diverse learners
  • Ability to collaborate proactively with educators, support staff, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

Your key responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform student learning plans
  • Provide consultation and recommendations to teachers and parents regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports
  • Develop intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
  • Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver crisis intervention and ongoing counseling services as required
  • Maintain thorough documentation in adherence to school and district guidelines
