You’ll work on-site Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 2:30pm, providing vital psychological services and collaborating with educators and families to ensure a positive educational experience for every child.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with elementary and middle school students, preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to create data-driven recommendations that support academic and emotional growth
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students in grades 1-8
- Deliver individual and small group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to design effective interventions
- Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
