Key Qualifications:

• Active CT 070 School Psychologist License is required
• Previous experience conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and comprehensive report writing
• Strong counseling skills with a compassionate approach to student development
• Effective collaboration abilities to support PPT (Planning and Placement Team) processes
• Excellent communication skills for both student interaction and documentation

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, re-evaluations, and interpret assessment data
• Write detailed, accurate reports to guide educational planning and interventions
• Provide individual and group counseling services to address students’ academic and emotional needs
• Collaborate closely with the PPT team, participating in meetings and supporting the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Offer direct support to students, teachers, and families to promote student success and well-being
• Stay current with best practices in school psychology and ethical standards
