Qualifications:
- Hold a valid CT 070 School Psychologist License
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
- Proficient in psychological evaluations, re-evaluations, and report writing
- Skilled in providing individual and group counseling
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including participating in PPT meetings
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations
- Prepare precise, thorough reports to support student needs and IEP planning
- Offer individual and group counseling services to students
- Actively participate in the PPT (Planning and Placement Team), providing expertise for student planning
- Work directly with students to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff, delivering recommendations and strategies for student support
