With 37.5 hours per week, you’ll have the chance to provide essential psychological services in multiple locations, fostering growth and wellbeing among students.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Psychology, K-12
- Master’s degree in School Psychology
- Prior experience working with K-12 student populations
- Flexibility to work itinerantly across various locations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly valued, though not mandatory
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Support the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Serve as an advocate for students’ mental health and educational rights
- Deliver professional development or consultation to school staff as appropriate
- Travel between assigned schools to ensure broad impact
