School Psychologist in Hampshire, IL

With 37.5 hours per week, you’ll have the chance to provide essential psychological services in multiple locations, fostering growth and wellbeing among students.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Psychology, K-12
• Master’s degree in School Psychology
• Prior experience working with K-12 student populations
• Flexibility to work itinerantly across various locations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly valued, though not mandatory

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Support the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Serve as an advocate for students’ mental health and educational rights
• Deliver professional development or consultation to school staff as appropriate
• Travel between assigned schools to ensure broad impact
