Desired Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist license in North Carolina
  • Certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience providing psychological services at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Proficiency with conducting evaluations and assessments for students of varying backgrounds
  • Strong communication skills when collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt to a K-12 caseload and work flexibly with students of all ages

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret psychoeducational assessments for students K-12
  • Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and share findings with school teams and families
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and student support meetings
  • Offer consultation and guidance to teachers regarding academic and behavioral interventions
  • Help foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate for all students
  • Stay current with best practices and state requirements for school psychology
