Desired Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina School Psychologist license is required
  • Previous experience working in K-12 school settings (elementary, middle, or high school)
  • Skilled in administering evaluations and assessments for students of diverse backgrounds and needs
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practices supporting student growth and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Deliver support and interventions tailored to students’ individual learning and behavioral needs
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide insights for eligibility and support planning
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop strategies for academic, social, and emotional success
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation in alignment with school guidelines and professional standards
  • Advocate for a positive, inclusive school climate that empowers every student
