A full-time contract opportunity is available for two School Psychologists to support educational services in Hampton, VA, from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027. This role involves contributing to a dynamic school district by providing essential psychological services to students and collaborating with educational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological testing and assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop comprehensive reports and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Provide counseling and implement behavior support strategies, with specific duties to be determined.
- Manage a caseload as assigned, ensuring effective support for students' educational and behavioral development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments, report writing, and supporting IEP development.
- Skills in counseling and behavior management within school settings.
- Ability to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) during the contract period.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
