With a full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, your expertise will reach across elementary, middle, and high school populations. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active School Psychologist license or certification valid for the duration of the assignment
- Previous experience providing psychological services in K-12 school environments is highly desired
- Strong background in conducting assessments and evaluations
- Familiarity with IEP processes and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Effective communication skills for collaborative work with educators, students, and families
- Ability to work independently while integrating seamlessly into established school teams
- Strong organizational skills and thorough documentation capabilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer cognitive, academic, social, behavioral, and emotional assessments for a diverse student population
- Participate in eligibility, reevaluation, and IEP meetings, offering expert input to guide student support plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret data and develop evidence-based intervention recommendations
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Offer crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive student outcomes
