Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Connecticut School Psychologist License required.
• Proven background providing psychological support services within K-12 educational settings.
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills for students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
• Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external professionals.
• Ability to develop and implement effective student intervention strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological assessments and interpret data to inform educational planning.
• Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop strategies that promote student well-being and success.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the creation of effective intervention plans.
• Offer recommendations for programs, support services, and behavioral strategies tailored to individual students.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding student confidentiality and data management.
