Make an impact supporting high school students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, onsite contract position begins August 24, 2026, and continues through May 2027, with the potential for extension to cover the remainder of the school year. The role is based near Hartford, CT, and is focused on providing essential psychological services and evaluation support within a high school caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active School Psychologist licensure and certification in Connecticut
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting, preferably high school
- Strong skills in evaluation administration, report writing, and participation in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings
- Ability to work collegially with students, educators, and families
- Excellent organization, communication, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments according to school and state guidelines
- Prepare detailed, legally defensible reports for PPT meetings
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success and individualized education plans
- Provide crisis intervention services and counseling as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all services provided
Schedule & Additional Details:
- Full time, 35 hours per week
- Onsite position at a high school campus
- Opportunity to extend the contract after May 2027
- Interviews will be conducted virtually via Zoom
