We’re seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide coverage during a maternity leave for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract position runs from August 24, 2026 through November 18, 2026, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference during a critical stretch of the academic calendar.

Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting elementary-aged students, collaborating with educators and families, and ensuring that each child receives the individualized assistance they need to thrive. As an integral member of the school community, you’ll contribute your assessment and counseling skills to foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Wisconsin School Psychologist Certification or valid NCSP credential required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
  • Thorough understanding of special education laws and best practices
  • Commitment to culturally responsive services

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for elementary school students
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
  • Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention strategies
  • Document and maintain confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
