Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold a current School Psychologist certification or license in Illinois
• Master’s or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting data
• Strong knowledge of special education processes and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral supports
• Passion for helping students of diverse backgrounds achieve success

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct counseling and intervention services for students
• Interpret assessment data and provide recommendations for educational planning
• Participate in problem-solving meetings and serve as a resource for evidence-based interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
