Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience within elementary school settings
- Strong background in conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Knowledge and practical skills in behavior management techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Dedication to promoting academic and social-emotional development for K-5 students
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to interpret assessment results and plan interventions
- Develop and implement strategies to support positive student behavior and classroom engagement
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives
- Provide consultation and support to school staff on student mental health issues
- Help shape an inclusive and supportive school environment for all learners
