You’ll play a critical part in supporting student development and providing expert guidance to educational teams.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or Specialist Degree in School Psychology is a must
  • Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Strong skills in administering psychological assessments, diagnostic testing, and evaluations
  • Experience with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Effective communicator and active participant in team meetings
  • Ability to provide both individual and group counseling

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students’ needs
  • Lead testing and diagnostic examinations to inform individualized education plans
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and counseling for students, either one-on-one or in small groups
  • Attend and contribute to PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
  • Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to develop targeted strategies for student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and confidential student records
  • Serve as a resource to staff regarding best practices in mental health and educational supports
