Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid and current School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Proven experience developing individualized education and intervention plans
  • Ability to work effectively as part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, interpreting results to inform instruction and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services for students in need
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives and support social-emotional learning efforts across grade levels
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families to encourage academic and personal growth
  • Deliver crisis intervention and collaborate on strategies supporting inclusive school environments
