Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts.
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Strong knowledge in conducting cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments (including ELIS psych experience a plus).
  • Experience with the development and implementation of IEPs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation for diverse student populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological evaluations, including ELIS psych assessments, as part of the special education eligibility process.
  • Provide direct student support through counseling, skill-building, and behavioral interventions.
  • Develop data-driven recommendations, collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents on educational planning.
  • Participate actively in school meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Monitor student progress and support positive behavioral strategies and interventions.
  • Promote inclusive, psychologically safe, and supportive school environments.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal regulations.
