Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and counseling strategies
- Familiarity with IEP process, behavioral assessments, and student support planning
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and supports
- Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to promote student well-being
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and assist in the development of individualized plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records in accordance with district and state policies
