Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential/certification (required)
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings
  • Strong background in conducting student assessments and counseling
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct counseling services to students, supporting social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ needs and eligibility for special education services
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assist in crisis intervention and prevention programs
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation according to district and legal requirements
  • Participate in meetings and professional development as needed throughout the school year
