Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience in an elementary school setting preferred
  • Competence in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
  • Strong skills in behavioral management and intervention strategies
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students
  • Design, implement, and monitor behavior management plans
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and progress
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and the development of individualized education plans
  • Support crisis intervention and prevention within the school community
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies
