School Psychologist - Hazel Green, Alabama

Make a meaningful impact across multiple school communities as a school psychologist supporting districtwide needs in a full-time contract position beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the 2026–2027 school year. This dynamic opportunity involves extensive collaboration, assessment responsibilities, and involvement with students, families, and educational teams.

What you’ll bring:

• Active Alabama school-based Psychologist or Psychometrist certification or eligibility
• Competence in conducting and interpreting psychological and psychoeducational assessments
• Strong foundation in federal and state special education compliance
• Ability to manage responsibilities across various schools in the district
• Confidence in report writing, eligibility determination, and participation in eligibility/IEP meetings
• Experience supporting Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and behavioral interventions is highly valued
• Familiarity with Alabama eligibility standards and comfort with high-volume, districtwide work is a plus
• Background in consultation or collaborative problem solving with educators and families

Your role will focus on:

• Delivering direct districtwide psychology and psychometry services
• Performing comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
• Determining eligibility in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Writing thorough, compliant reports and helping interpret results for school-based staff and families
• Actively participating in eligibility and IEP meetings
• Consulting with teachers, families, and MTSS teams to support student success
• Adapting to varying support needs across multiple campuses as assigned
