Qualifications:

  • Current, valid certification as a School Psychologist
  • Bilingual proficiency required (Spanish/English highly preferred)
  • Experience in educational and school-based settings
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, counseling methodologies, and intervention strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to provide culturally responsive services

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, including assessments for learning, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct counseling and intervention services to students as needed
  • Collaborate closely with a second onsite psychologist, teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and support for students facing academic or personal challenges
  • Promote well-being and positive school climate through data-driven practices and advocacy for students’ needs
