Qualifications:
- Current, valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Bilingual proficiency required (Spanish/English highly preferred)
- Experience in educational and school-based settings
- Knowledge of assessment tools, counseling methodologies, and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to provide culturally responsive services
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, including assessments for learning, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct counseling and intervention services to students as needed
- Collaborate closely with a second onsite psychologist, teachers, parents, and administrators
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and support for students facing academic or personal challenges
- Promote well-being and positive school climate through data-driven practices and advocacy for students’ needs
