Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies
- Familiarity with IEP and 504 processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students, interpreting results to develop appropriate intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify students’ needs and support instructional planning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to IEPs and 504 plans as required
- Provide individual and group counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Develop and facilitate behavioral interventions and support
- Support families by sharing resources and strategies to enhance student success
- Maintain confidential, accurate records in compliance with policies and regulations
