School Psychologist - Henderson, NV

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification/licensure as a school psychologist
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies
• Familiarity with IEP and 504 processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students, interpreting results to develop appropriate intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify students’ needs and support instructional planning
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to IEPs and 504 plans as required
• Provide individual and group counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Develop and facilitate behavioral interventions and support
• Support families by sharing resources and strategies to enhance student success
• Maintain confidential, accurate records in compliance with policies and regulations
