Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Virginia School Psychologist license
  • Experience working in K-12 settings, with a strong preference for elementary caseload familiarity
  • Knowledge of conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing interventions
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies
  • Participate in special education evaluations and meetings, providing expertise on student eligibility and program planning
  • Create data-driven recommendations to support student learning, social functioning, and well-being
  • Work closely with educators, administrators, and parents to design supportive strategies for individual and group needs
  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive school climate through prevention and early intervention initiatives
