Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Virginia School Psychologist license
- Experience working in K-12 settings, with a strong preference for elementary caseload familiarity
- Knowledge of conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing interventions
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies
- Participate in special education evaluations and meetings, providing expertise on student eligibility and program planning
- Create data-driven recommendations to support student learning, social functioning, and well-being
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and parents to design supportive strategies for individual and group needs
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive school climate through prevention and early intervention initiatives
