In this position, you’ll provide comprehensive psychological services to support students' academic, social, and emotional development. Your expertise will help foster positive, inclusive, and supportive school environments for all learners.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Virginia state School Psychologist license
- Experience working with K-12 populations, with a preference for elementary experience
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and outside professionals
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for promoting equity, inclusion, and student well-being
What You’ll Do:
- Complete psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to support student success
- Deliver individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention strategies
- Support the implementation of IEPs, 504 plans, and Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives
- Promote positive school culture and provide professional development when needed
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
