Key Qualifications:

  • Completed Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain credentials for practice
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
  • Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
  • Provide counseling and direct interventions to address student needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review IEPs
  • Consult and support educators regarding strategies, behavioral interventions, and best practices in supporting diverse learners
  • Participate in problem-solving teams and contribute insights during eligibility determination
  • Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school community
  • Engage in professional development and stay current with evidence-based practices in school psychology
