Key Qualifications:
- Completed Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain credentials for practice
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Provide counseling and direct interventions to address student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review IEPs
- Consult and support educators regarding strategies, behavioral interventions, and best practices in supporting diverse learners
- Participate in problem-solving teams and contribute insights during eligibility determination
- Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school community
- Engage in professional development and stay current with evidence-based practices in school psychology
