This contract role calls for a School Psychologist who excels in behavioral support and trauma-informed care, dedicating expertise to fostering positive outcomes for students facing significant challenges.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Strong background in behavioral support, counseling, and trauma-informed practices
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
  • Proficiency in developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and data-driven decision making
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Compassion, adaptability, and commitment to meeting diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and small-group counseling tailored to students’ needs
  • Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
  • Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Assist in the creation and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Support implementation of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
  • Consult with teachers and families around interventions and strategies
  • Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings as a team member
  • Contribute to crisis response and safety planning
  • Develop transition plans to help students reintegrate into their home schools
