Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Strong background in behavioral support, counseling, and trauma-informed practices
- Experience conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
- Proficiency in developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and data-driven decision making
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Compassion, adaptability, and commitment to meeting diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and small-group counseling tailored to students’ needs
- Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
- Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Assist in the creation and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Support implementation of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Consult with teachers and families around interventions and strategies
- Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings as a team member
- Contribute to crisis response and safety planning
- Develop transition plans to help students reintegrate into their home schools
