Discover a contract opportunity making a difference in the lives of students by providing psychological services during the first semester of the upcoming school year. This full-time position runs from August 4th through the end of December and offers the chance to cover two consecutive maternity leaves at an elementary site serving a diverse population of 500 young learners.

As a valued member of the educational team, your expertise will directly support students, teachers, and families in fostering a positive, productive, and inclusive school environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Prior experience working in elementary school settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and external partners
  • Familiarity with MTSS/RTI, IEP development, and special education processes

Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and academic assessments as needed
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, such as counseling and behavioral interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and provide written reports
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to help address student needs
  • Support crisis intervention, prevention programs, and promote student resilience
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and state standards
