This full-time position runs from August 4th through the end of December and offers the chance to cover two consecutive maternity leaves at an elementary site serving a diverse population of 500 young learners.
As a valued member of the educational team, your expertise will directly support students, teachers, and families in fostering a positive, productive, and inclusive school environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Prior experience working in elementary school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and external partners
- Familiarity with MTSS/RTI, IEP development, and special education processes
Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and academic assessments as needed
- Provide direct and indirect services to students, such as counseling and behavioral interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and provide written reports
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to help address student needs
- Support crisis intervention, prevention programs, and promote student resilience
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and state standards
