School Psychologist - Hixson, Tennessee

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and current certification/license as a School Psychologist
• Demonstrated experience delivering psychological assessments and evaluations within a school setting
• Knowledge of MTSS/RTI processes and special education law and procedures
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with teachers, families, and administrators
• Experience with crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation for students
• Ability to manage a full-time school-based caseload

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) alongside a multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct counseling and interventions to students as needed
• Interpret data and present evaluation findings to school teams and parents
• Offer expert guidance on academic interventions, social-emotional learning, and behavioral management strategies
