Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license for Tennessee or eligibility to obtain
- Graduate degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and behavioral interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations and various age groups
- Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning
- Work with teachers and parents to design individualized intervention strategies
- Provide short-term counseling or crisis intervention as needed
- Monitor student progress and modify supports to suit changing needs
- Advocate for students’ access to appropriate services and supports within the school setting
