Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license for Tennessee or eligibility to obtain
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and behavioral interventions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with students, staff, and families
  • Comfortable working with diverse student populations and various age groups
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
  • Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning
  • Work with teachers and parents to design individualized intervention strategies
  • Provide short-term counseling or crisis intervention as needed
  • Monitor student progress and modify supports to suit changing needs
  • Advocate for students’ access to appropriate services and supports within the school setting
